Don't ya just hate it when you've been reading someone's blog for a long time and it dawns on you that who and what you've been reading about is all FAKE! I've been fooled for almost two years now, and I bet you have been too. Don't ask me who, I won't tell.
It makes me feel soooo stupid!

Oooh, don't you just love 'twenty questions?'
I have been hoping that I am a fake for a long time now....
Seriously, if it is a blog we have listed on T-Central, please let me know, Steph. I would want to check it out, however, and our group would need to discuss deleting it. This is important to the credibility of T-Central, so please let me know. Private email if necessary.

Girls, My only clue is that a time line is wrong so I won't tell for fear that if there is a chance that I'm wrong I would feel terrible. The person that I'd name would have a major problem too and I really wouldn't want this person, THIS *PARTICULAR* PERSON, if she even exists, caused any trouble. It's no one that comments on any blogs so by not naming I feel it won't harm any of us if I keep my thoughts to myself. Maybe I should have done just that. Kept my thoughts to myself.

I'd bet that there are more "phonies" than we'd like to believe. I've seen them around since Yahoo360 days and I'm sure they'll be around for years to come. Some people need that level of anonymity to tell the world how they really feel inside, but those who end up becoming a part of their life through their writing feel snubbed when it's revealed they're not who they say they are.
As for me, I can't deal with that kind of person very well. There has to be some level of authenticity to you in order for me to have a vested interest in your life. My rule of thumb is : if they're fake, I won't give them a break.
Who Could It Be Now?

I'll just say generally that for many reasons there are fakes about who abuse the goodwill of helpful people.
