Taking a break

Seems everyone is making plans for their soon to be GRS and I'm having trouble just existing. I just can't read any more for awhile. Sorry

Hi Stephanie,

Sometimes it feels like waiting at an airport for one of those endlessly delayed flights while everyone passes through and you are still stuck in the same place.

Some of us are stuck here for ever, should we form a club?!

I've been waiting six years for GRS and I'm no closer than when I started... actually, you might consider me farther away than ever since now I have no job and no credit. Do I qualify for the club?

Seriously, take as long as you need. I hope it won't be too long though. We'll miss you!

You won't have to worry about GRS updates from me. Ain't ever gonna happen, whether I'd choose it or not. I'd join a Stuck in Neutral Club, for sure!

Sometimes it's good to take a break from it. Worked for me. ;o)

Sad to see you're stepping away now that I've just come back. You're my age and one of the few I can most relate to. Hope you're just having a temporary bad day.

GRS isn't the be all and end all. You know that. Take care Steph.

Stephanie,

There is no law that says that GRS is a requirement. Many people refrain from having GRS, for a myriad of reasons. You know who you are, and so does the one who created you, and you don't have to lift your skirt to prove it to anyone! When you get right down to it, it's icing on the cake. What's really important, is the cake itself, and you Stephanie, are a pretty sweet cake!
